He picks up litter
To pay the fee
When it comes to bottles
And cans
He's on a spree
Two sacks in a second
Are full and complete
But the ache in his back
And the sore in his feet
Make this job one of toil
With a start early to-boot
Picking up underwear soiled
Is not such a hoot
But at the end of the day
He did not have to pay
For Bestival.

Dreaded Bedded
Dreaded bedded
For so long deprived
Dreaded bedded
On which he can't wait to lie
Dreaded bedded
At festival none
Dreaded bedded
Finally some
Sleep so deep
Can be obtained
No man could refrain
From
Dreaded bedded
The repetition of the term 'dreaded bedded' emphasises the importance of a sleep, and how restful interjection must be included in daily life if sanity is to be maintained. The lack of the phrase 'dreaded bedded' in the penultimate 4 lines, demonstrates the human tendency to forget the importance of sleep - as embodied in the words 'dreaded bedded'. Dreaded bedded.
