Break The Fast

Man sits down
To coffee drink
And denies sleep
As he rests on the brink
But what, does not
The cup contain
From which
He never can refrain
The ineptitude of his consumption
Burdens his mind
Like life's resumption

Clearly, man's dependence on caffeine is a an undying aspect of his existence. The only question which remains, is whether his consumption is a necessary trait of his lifestyle, or a malignant parasite of his being; consuming his financial assets without his full moral consent.
