Muggy Air

Muggy air
Encloses all
Without a
Care
Why don't you
Care
Muggy Air
Restricting breathing
Preventing sleep
The evils of muggy air
Run deep
Muggy air
Go away from here
Go over there
Muggy Air

Walking In The Air

Man walks in air
How?
To where?
The air, I tell thee
See clear
Beneath the sky of dark
Light
To what avail
Does the man take fright.

Highlighted within this inspired collection of verse, is the manner in which it is when one feels they are above all as they walk 'in air' that they are most vulnerable - demonstrated through the phrase 'take fright', which conveys the fragility of an over zealous ego. Does this have anything to do with the song?.. No.

Cold Air

Cold air
Against hot face
Laced
With oxygen
Molecules, indiscriminate
From the pollutants of
Human-kind
Ironic?
Perhaps, moronic?
A fact
Cold air
Over here
Over there
Cold air
Cold air

The primary element 'air' juxtaposes harshly with the word 'laced' which has connotations of interference, disruption, and corruption - symbolic of 'human-kind.'  The questioning tone of the middle verses forces the reader to re-examine the common term 'humankind' to assess its true meaning - are humans in fact kind? The recapitulation of the line 'cold air' concludes that this is where the underlying importance lies - cold air triumphing over the corruption hinted at with 'laced,' earlier in the verse. And all that's exactly what I was trying to portray when writing this. Obviously.
